THE EARTH

The satisfaction of being able to make my own wine is, among other things, a return to my roots, to an ancient work that connects me personally to the land.

Here passions, like music and fine company, are enjoyed in an unique environment with my family. It is place where the natural gift of the vineyard is present throughout the four seasons.

For this reason I chose Mendoza; it is a geography that symbolizes heaven here on earth.

FINCA LA LUNA

La Luna, Spanish for the Moon, is the name of our finca  (estate). The magic of the landscape transports us to another place… to that space and to a unique special moment. That is what we wish to deliver in each and every one of our wines.

The estate has 20 year old vineyards, as well as implants of 6 years, including a large olive tree grove. Though Malbec is predominate, Cabernet Sauvignon is also present, as well as Petit Verdot in smaller quantities. The harvest, or la vendimia, is realized in small 15kg batches, so as to avoid crushing the fruit on the way to the bodega. The vine harvest is done by a staff deeply committed to the project.

LUNLUNTA

Beyond being one of the best wine zones in the world for Malbec cultivation, Lunlunta has other charms that influenced my decision to invest in the land. The passing of time gave rise to Mendoza's particular topographic and climatic formation:the huaicos, hills  of mixed stone and sand, that shelter the vineyards providing an ideal micro-climate for vines. Lunlunta is a magical place. It is no wonder that Lunlunta was the site chosen by the Huarpes (the natives of the region) as a retreat for meditation.

This land is not just for the growing of grapes.  Like that of a cherished witness, it can attest to the moments that I have shared here in the company of my family and friends.
